Mechanical Engineer, driver for creativity and interdisciplinary activities in project management, leadership and development of innovative projects.
Worked for several years in companies participated by Águas de Portugal Group, who represents 70% of the waste management sector in Portugal.
Worked for two years in a Consultancy Austrian Company in Vienna (UV&P), developing a role has project manager, associated with several local waste management experts and companies.
Solid experience in overall Project development and management of integrated waste management systems (Waste-to-Energy Plants, Anaerobic Digestion Plants, Mechanical Biological Treatments and Sanitary Landfills).
In the renewable sector, he was responsible for a business area for development and management for one of the biggest photovoltaic projects in Portugal on photovoltaic microgeneration and minigeneration plants (204 photovoltaic of 3,68 kWp microgenation units – 3,5 M€, 700 kWp overall capacity installed and distributed for 14 AdP Group companies).
Project development and management from several innovative projects – CPV (concentration photovoltaics) and biogas waste heat recovery system – Organic Rankine Cycle.

Born in 1958 in Vienna (Austria)
Environmental and Civil Engineer, with long experience in Planning, Construction and Operation of Waste-to-energy Plants, Site and Soil Remediation, Waste Water Treatment Plants.
Founder of Herbert Beywinkler (Environmental and Civil Engineering, Water Management), with responsabilities in Supervision of construction sites, site management, optimizations of plants and technological processes.
Co-Founder of UV&P Umweltmanagement – Verfahrenstechnik Neubacher & Partner Ges.m.b.H., with responsabilities in Systems analyses for environmental management and engineering; conceptual development of waste utilization and waste treatment projects including environmental impact assessment, feasibility studies, technical planning and project management.
In the last 10 years, was involved in major waste management projects, such as LINZ AG (70 MWth WtE facility with waste and biomass fuels); MMK (2 x 80 MWth WtE facility for waste and biomass fuels); SNAGA (200.000 Mg/y mechanical and biological waste treatment facility); AMISM (32 MWth WtE facility for waste and biomass).
